The City of Banks combined funds received from the Governors Special Fund, the Rural Services Block Grant, and local funds to build this three-bay fire station. The City of Banks also received the Rural Service Community Grant of $15,000 and combined it with local volunteer labor to help complete the interior. David Simmons was the contractor, and Cody Stringer with A.L. Franks Enginnering designed the project.
